Dermatology for Animals is a specialty veterinary practice identifying, treating, and managing dermatological problems in dogs and cats.  These problems, manifested in itchiness, poor hair coat, and/or skin lesions, often result from microbial disease or allergies to food or environmental allergens.

Because dermatological problems are often lifelong conditions, our focus is on management of the disease or allergy.  Through proper management, most animals can achieve a level of comfort that makes them welcome and happy members of their families.

Dermatology for Animals serves veterinarians and pet owners from the San Francisco and Monterey bay regions.  It was started by Dr. Helen Power, DACVD. Currently, Dermatology for Animals is served by dermatologists Dr. Edward Jazic, DACVD and Dr. Tom Lewis,  DACVD.
