Nancy Coursodon, CVT

Director of Operations

Nancy has been a Dermatology for Animals family member since 2006. She enjoys traveling, wood working and crafting. Nancy loves spending time with her family, including her Australian Shepherd Jake.

Sandy Lewis

Chief Financial Officer

Sandy joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2000.  She enjoys baking, and vacationing with her family at the beach or camping/hiking in the woods.

Nicole Schrah

Assistant Director of Operations

Nicole has been a member of the Dermatology for Animals family since 2012.  She enjoys camping and sports with her family, which includes her husband, 3 children, Golden Retriever and Dachshunds.

Kaye Howell

Information Technology Manager & Veterinary Software Specialist

Kaye, aka “OZ”, joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2004.  She enjoys horseback riding, gardening, bike riding, camping, and spending time with her family. She lives on a mini farm with a horse Bud Ballou, Tyler the rescue mountain sheep, 2 dogs, Marley, (yes he is a yellow lab), a rescue setter named Gracie , 4 rescue cats, and 3 stray chickens. 

Megan Townsend

Accounts Receivable Manager

& IT Assistant

Megan joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2010.  She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, playing with her 2 dogs, and long walks on the beach.

Laura Rice, CVT

Marketing Coordinator, Social Media and Website Design

Laura joined the Dermatology for Animals team, in Tucson and Gilbert, in 2014.  She has been in the veterinary field since 1994.  Laura loves coffee, Cogri's, gardening, chickens, the color red and spending time with her amazing family.  She is very proud of her daughters -  her oldest barrel races & her youngest is in the US Army!

Pam Schmeling

Administrative Assistant

Pam joined the Dermatology for Animals team in February 2018. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family, walking her two fur babies (miniature Dachshund "Bella" , and Terrier mix "Fitz" named after the famous Larry Fitzgerald),  hiking, camping, and watching football ... Go Cardinals !

Northwest Practice Manager & VTS Mentor

Shilo joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2001.  Her interests are crafting with gourds and going to crafts festivals. She loves spending time with her family and her tropical fish..

Steph joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2013.  Her hobbies include hiking, gardening, reading, and hanging out with her husband, daughter, and all of their furry friends. 

Becca Brown, RVT

Eastern Practice Manager

Becca joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2012.  Her interest are camping, watching sports and she is a koi fish hobbyist.She loves spending time in the outdoors and with her horse Meghan.

Amy joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2014. She has worked in the veterinary field for 20 years, with experience with large and small animals. Amy loves coffee, reading with her daughter, playing with her four legged friends, going to Disneyland and the beach.

Alexa Allen

Controlled Drug Manager &

Team Lead, Avondale

Alexa joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2015.  She has worked in the veterinary field since 2007.  Since starting with Dermatology for Animals, she has had the pleasure of working with the Phoenix Zoo and Southwest Wildlife Sanctuary to help exotic animals in need, which she absolutely loves! In her spare time, Alexa, loves to paint, read & hike with my pit bull Zuko.

Megan Hoenicke

Team Lead, Scottsdale

Megan joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2004, after traveling and working in many of our offices.  In 2010 she called the Scottsdale clinic home. Dermatologic disease education and case management are the favorite parts of Megan's job. While not in the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children, 2 dogs, horses, goats, chickens, and gardening on her small farm.

Daniel Keularts, RVT

Team Lead, New Mexico

Daniel joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2014

He enjoys hiking and backpacking, with his partner and their 3 dogs, spending time in the hammock watching his turtles and playing video games on the couch with the cats.  Daniel also loves a good breakfast burrito smothered in green chile.

Farryn Fodge

Team Lead, Coeur d'Alene

Farryn joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2018, shortly after starting tech school ( she is currently attending Penn Foster). She has  3 dogs; Cj & Kilo Boston terriers and Zola Anatolian/Pyrenees, not to mention a quarter horse named Stella. Farryn enjoys riding horses, spending time with her husband and son, and anything in the great outdoors.

Jamie Lawrence, CVT

Team Lead, Spokane

Jamie joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2017. She has worked in veterinary medicine for 32 years and has been a licensed technician for 20 years. Jamie has experience working with small, exotic and wildlife animals. She worked in emergency medicine for 18 years before joining dermatology. In her free time she enjoys raising two girls as well as skiing, biking, gardening and reading.

Emily Thompson, RVT

Team Lead, Oakland

Emily joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2017.  In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, Ian, Boston terrier, Hugo, and her three cats, Edie, Dot and Duncan.  Emily spends her days off thrift shopping and restoring antique and vintage furniture and collectibles. 

Kayla Anello, RVT

Team Lead, Walnut Creek

Kayla joined the Dermatology for Animals team in January 2017. During her free time she enjoys taking walks and relaxing at home. She also helps her grandmother with her 4 dogs and 2 cats.

Shawna Stukey, LVT, LAT

Team Lead, Omaha

Shawna joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2016. She has been a licensed Technician for 20 years and has worked with small, large, exotic, and research animals. Shawna absolutely loves her career!     In her free time she loves spending time with her family, crafting, camping, and horseback riding.

Heather Senftleben, LVT

Team Lead, New York

Heather joined the Dermatology for Animals team in 2016. She came to us with 15 years of experience in general practice.  Heather likes to spend her free time with her husband, daughter, cats and dogs. She also enjoys crafts and sewing.

Angela Tsabetsaye

Arizona Study Coordinator

Angela joined Dermatology for Animals in 2013 and has 12 years experience in the veterinary field. Dermatology has become her passion. In her free time she enjoys traveling and camping with her significant other and spending time with family and friends, including her miniature dachshund Odie and conure bird Titó.
